Borussia Dortmund to Host Wolfsburg Ahead of the Klassiker

It wasn’t expected but it happened. Bayern Munich caught up and overtook Borussia Dortmund. The Bundesliga season is heading towards the last matchdays. Therefore, any points dropped from both sides will play a huge role in the title race. One thing is sure, we are witnessing an exciting end to this season’s Bundesliga.

Wolfsburg Test ahead of “Der Klassiker”

Borussia Dortmund will host 7th place Wolfsburg on Matchday 27 in the Signal Iduna Park. Lucien Favre’s men are looking for a crucial win, ahead of a much challenging away game in the Allianz Arena against Bayern Munich. Especially after Bayern trashed Wolfsburg with a whopping 6-0 on Matchday 25. Many previously injured players like Axel Witsel, Mario Gotze and Paco Alcacer are back to training.

Although the squad seems very confident to take on next challenges on the road to a 9th Bundesliga title, the most important component of the squad is Marco Reus.
