Borussia Dortmund Lock Emre Can on Permanent Deal

Emre Can signed a 4-year contract with Borussia Dortmund starting July 2020. Following his signing on loan from Juventus, Emre Can showed a great capability and skill both on the pitch and outside. His understanding of the game and the alignment of his objectives with those of the black and yellows made things move faster and smoother. Despite not having much playtime in Italian Serie A, the 26 years old German international managed to secure his spot in the starting eleven. His strong character in the midfield coupled with a very strong physical presence allowed him to tilt the odds on Borussia Dortmund’s side on many occasions. Aside from athletic performance, Can is very articulate and doesn’t fear controversy when it comes to interviews. In fact, following the DFB Cup shock against Werder Bremen, Emre Can talked about how Borussia Dortmund players can produce more than they are currently. Despite his young age, the 26 years old played for teams such as Bayern Munich, Bayern Leverkusen, Liverpool, and Juventus.
From the 2005 Borussia Dortmund, till the title winning squad in 2011 and UEFA Champions League runner up era, Mostafa was always a very passionate Black and Yellow supporter. You would often see him in Coffee shops and Bars on Matchdays. He will be wearing a BVB jersey and sipping on a German beer and most likely swearing at the referee.
