Without a response from Lucien Favre‘s men. the first half ends 1-0.
With the start of the second half, Augsburg’s Marco Richter didn’t allow Borussia Dortmund players to breathe by scoring the 2nd goal from a long-range shot. With a moment of genius, Julian Brandt responds 2 minutes later to reduce the gap. However, Florian Niederlechner comes back in the 55th minute to increase the difference by 2 goals. As a result, Lucien Favre introduces Erling Haaland in the 56th minute in the hopes of a response. The Norwegian youngster manages to score his first Bundesliga goal after 2 minutes of playtime. After that, it all went south for the home team as Jadon Sancho scored the equalizer and Haaland achieved a debut hat-trick. The game ended 3-5 with Borussia Dortmund securing 3 crucial points.
From the 2005 Borussia Dortmund, till the title winning squad in 2011 and UEFA Champions League runner up era, Mostafa was always a very passionate Black and Yellow supporter. You would often see him in Coffee shops and Bars on Matchdays. He will be wearing a BVB jersey and sipping on a German beer and most likely swearing at the referee.
