Borussia Dortmund coach Lucien Favre announced that he suspended Jadon Sancho ahead of the Borussia Mönchengladbach game. According to the German magazine Kicker, after recognizing that there is a lot of pressure on the young Englishman, Lucien Favre said in the press conference “Jadon is a great player, no doubt about that, but he has a lot to learn.” This suspension is due to the fact that Jadon Sancho returned to Dortmund a bit late after the international break with the England national team.
Jadon Sancho is one of the most important players in the Borussia Dortmund squad this season. With the absence of Paco Alcacer, the Black and Yellows will have a tough challenge to reclaim their usual ranking in the Bundesliga table. Despite the current form of Borussia Mönchengladbach, they are also lacking several important players.
This is not the first time that Jadon Sancho had misconduct outside the pitch. In fact, in the 2017-18 season, Jadon Sancho was transferred briefly from the senior squad to the BVB-U23 due to arriving several times late to training.
From the 2005 Borussia Dortmund, till the title winning squad in 2011 and UEFA Champions League runner up era, Mostafa was always a very passionate Black and Yellow supporter. You would often see him in Coffee shops and Bars on Matchdays. He will be wearing a BVB jersey and sipping on a German beer and most likely swearing at the referee.
