Paco Alcacer Stars With Spain in Game Against Wales

Paco Alcacer goal celebration for Spain

Paco Alcacer showed an amazing performance after transferring to Borussia Dortmund on loan from FC Barcelona. The Spanish sharpshooter didn’t wait a lot before having a chance for playtime under Lucien Favre.

Although Paco Alcacer is yet to start a game in the Bundesliga, he only needed 83 minutes of game time to score 6 goals. In fact, 3 of the 6 he scored so far in the Bundesliga took place in the game against Augsburg on Saturday. Thus, the Spanish national team decided to call the player for National duty in their games against Wales and England during the international break.

It turns out that the Spaniard cannot stop scoring. After finding his long lost form, Paco Alcacer didn’t wait much to go for a goal for Spain against Wales on Thursday night friendly. In the 8th minute, and after a wandering ball in the penalty area, Paco fires a shot in the top left corner of Wales goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey.

Paco Alcacer waited 10 minutes after Sergio Ramos’s goal to make it 0-3 for Spain. The Borussia Dortmund star takes advantage of a falling ball in the middle of the penalty area to strike and score his 2nd goal of the night.

It’s now obvious that Paco Alcacer wants to show that he is coming back stronger. The 25 years old scored 9 goals in a 2 months span. Alcacer said earlier in a press conference that he chose Borussia Dortmund to “play more and be happy”. He is surely making the black and yellow fans happy as well with his outstanding form.

Paco Alcacer joined Dortmund in the summer transfer window from FC Barcelona on a 1 year loan deal. Borussia Dortmund have a buyout option after this deal expires. It’s safe to say that the German giants will not miss the opportunity of signing a talent such as Paco Alcacer on a long term contract next season.
